Peacefully, at North West Hospice, Sligo. Tony, predeceased by his father Noel and brother Jim. Beloved husband of Frances. He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken wife, mother Gretta, sisters Maeve, Ann and Margaret, brothers Noel and Kevin, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at The Foley and McGowan Funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo on Wednesday evening from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Funeral will arrive to the Day Chapel at St. Anne’s Church, Sligo on Thursday morning at 11:00am for Requiem mass. Funeral will proceed to Sligo Cemetery for burial after.

I just want to offer our sincere condolences and prayers to the entire Kelly family on the passing of Tony, he was an absolute gentleman, always filled with fun and laughter, last time I was home I met Tony with my mom in Strandhill. I’m just reminiscing on the years passed growing up on the Strandhill Road with all of you. From the bonfires, building huts and playing soccer in Billy’s Field. The good old years! Very shocked to hear this very sad news, Tony’s dad & I were 2nd cousins, the few times we met Tony in Sligo he was very jovial and just an laugh and a pleasure to be with. Our deepest condolences to Frances and to my other Kelly cousins, may he R.I.P. Eamonn & Joan Kelly.
