Funeral Arrangements

When the time comes to arrange a funeral of a loved one, having complete faith in your chosen Funeral Director to arrange the proceedings in a manner that is respectful to the deceased and the bereaved family is of great benefit in assisting in the initial stages of grief.

From the moment you make contact with a member of our staff, you will receive our undivided attention in affirming your requirements to ensure that the final journey of your loved one is dealt with in a dignified and respectful manner.

We are here to reduce the anxiety and stress involved in arranging a funeral so that you can take the time needed to come to terms with your loss and to spend those precious moments remembering your loved one that has sadly passed away.

As part of our service we will meet with you in person either at our funeral home or at your residence, it is your choice we are happy to accommodate your needs. It is at this time we will explain the various options available to you where decisions are made around:

  • The type of funeral service you wish to avail of i.e. traditional, civil or non-denomination, burial or cremation
  • Where the funeral will take place
  • What funeral arrangements you would like e.g. removal times, viewing locations (residence/funeral home or both)
  • Additional requirements e.g. preparation of the deceased, arranging the service with relevant personal, choice of vehicles, flowers, music, newspaper/radio notices, opening of existing graves, purchase of graves etc.

At this initial meeting and having discussed your requirements we will be in a position to offer you a breakdown of the costs involved to provide this service. Where a pre-need plan was agreed in advance with the departed this information will also be made available to you.
