Suddenly, at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin. Russell, predeceased by his father Eugene. Beloved son of Eileen and dear brother of Warren, Wayne, Giles and Owen. He will be sadly missed by his mother, brothers, sisters-in-law Lisa, Orlaith, Stacey and Amy, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and his wide circle of family and friends both home and abroad.

Reposing at The Foley and McGowan Funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo on Wednesday from 12:00pm with a Celebration of his life at 1:30pm. Funeral will proceed to Sligo Cemetery for burial after.

Russell will be held in my heart and memory eternally. The boys were the closest of cousins to us, having all spent 3 weeks together in one house every other year growing up they felt more like brothers. He always had a smile and something funny to say when our paths crossed espically when I was out on a run. Only a few weeks ago Russell decided to join myself and girls while we were out running be it only for a few secs while he got me to spell what ever word came into his head. We will miss the banter.
