Michael passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of the staff in North West Hospice, Sligo. Predeceased by his grandson Cian, who died tragically 5 years ago. Dearly beloved husband of Anne and much loved father of John, Christine and Liam. Sadly missed but fondly remembered by his loving wife, sons and daughter, daughters-in-law Fiona and Lisa, son-in-law David, adored grandchildren Isabella, Áine, Ciara and Niamh, brothers and sisters, Philomena, Denis, Jackie, Monsignor Hugh, Martin and Celia, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Rest in Peace.
Reposing at The Foley & McGowan Funeral Home in Market Yard, Sligo, on Friday evening from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. Funeral will arrive to The Cathedral of The Immaculate Conception, Sligo on Saturday morning at 11:30am for Requiem mass. Funeral will proceed to Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Scarden, Strandhill Road, Sligo for burial after.
