To Lorcans family,
I knew Lorcan through a Spanish connection. Years ago in 2012, I was involved in organising a conference on the Spanish Armada in Grange. I needed a translator for a Spanish speaker coming to it. Lorcan was recommended to me. He did a great job. Lorcan was always polite, mannerly and interesting. He wrote his own books, he attended poetry evenings and I enjoyed his events organised by the Spanish society. I cannot believe he is gone. I am deeply sorry for your loss, he is now in a good place. Sligo will miss him. Carpet Diem
So sorry for your loss. May he rest in peace.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Lorcan. I moved to Sligo a year ago and it was one of the first people i met there. I am right now on a vacation and the last i would have imagined would be he won’t be there by the time i come back. It has been shocking news. We were not close friends but he was so kind and nice, always a pleasure to talk to him.
My most sincere condolences.
