John (peacefully at Sligo University Hospital) beloved husband of Nancy and loving father of Gerard, Colm, Caroline, Anthony, Ann, Edel and Aiden. Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, sister, Claire, daughters-in-law Sandra and Eleanor, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his residence on Thursday from 12 noon to 8 pm. Funeral will arrive to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Sligo on Friday for 1pm Requiem Mass followed by burial in Sligo Cemetery. House private on Friday morning. Family flowers only donation if desired to the Irish Diabetes Association care of Foley and McGowan`s Funeral Home.
