  60. From the very first day meeting Jim Meehan in Sligo many years ago, there was a true connection and chemistry between he and my wife, Doris. We learned so much about the Irish culture. Jim showed us the beauty of the countryside and the mountains that he knew so well. Yes, music was our connection, too, but there was more for each of us to learn about one another. Jim stayed in our home several times and it was always a joy to have him with us. Jim Meehan was a very special individual to Doris and me. We will miss our Whatsapp video calls! We send our deepest and most sincere condolences to his daughters, Emma and Clara, and family.
