She will be sadly missed by her sons, mother, brothers Gerard (Jennifer), Seamus (Brenda), sisters Valerie (Brian), Karen (Glenn), grandchildren Mia, Evan, Regan, Willow, Dylan, nieces Nicola ,Kayleigh, Sarah, Chloe and Leigha, nephews Taylor, Ross and Andrew, best friend Charlotte Cullen, relatives, neighbours, work family, and friends.

Reposing at the Foley and McGowan’s Funeral Home, Market yard, Sligo (F91YR61) on Wednesday 4th March from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. Funeral will arrive to St. Anne’s Church, Sligo (F91R250) on Thursday 5th March at 11:00am for requiem mass, funeral will proceed to Sligo cemetery for burial after.

Jackie was an ever present figure on our infant yards at hometime, standing waiting on her little charges, each of whom would run over to her in delightful glee with a smile of contentment on his or her face. Jackie would have a kind word for each and every one of them and off they would go, around the gable, like mother duck and all her little ducklings. All the boys and girls happy and safe in Jackie’s care.
We are grateful to Jackie for providing so much more than an after school service for our pupils. She showed them affection, listened to their news and treated them with huge respect. We will all miss her presence dearly but nothing like the void now created in the lives of you, her family. May happy memories comfort you all at this sad time and may Jackie now rest easy, her life’s work done.

Sincere sympathy to all of Jackie’s family and friends on your sad loss. Jackie minded Ceoladh after school for two years and it was like the mutual admiration society. They were very fond of each other, having the chats, playing games, Jackie looking after all of Ceoladh’s needs as she did for every child.
