Beloved husband of the late Nora (Nee Mahon).

Loving father of Andrea Askey (Treacy Ave.), Tina MaGuire, Seaview Park, Sligo. Sadly missed by his loving daughters, brothers, Willie and Shug (Scotland), Son-in-law, Mark Askey, grandchildren, Wesley and Craig, great- grandchildren, Hayden and Benjamin, brothers-in-law, sisters- in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at the Foley and McGowan Funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo on Sunday evening from 5.00pm to 6.30pm and on Monday morning from 10 o’clock with removal at 11 o’clock to the Cathedral of The Immaculate Conception, Sligo, arriving for 11.30 Requiem Mass.  Burial afterwards in Sligo cemetery. Family flowers only, donations if desired to The Alzheimer’s Unit at St. John’s Hospital, Sligo c/o of Foley and McGowan’s Funeral Home.
