Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at University Hospital Galway. Cliodna, predeceased by her brothers Paul and Julian. Loving mother of Aisling, Maeve and Clíona and dear grandmother of Conor, Maeve, Tadhg, Féilim and Elva. She will be sadly missed by her daughters, grandchildren, her sister Aisling, sons-in-law Carlos and Ovidijus, sister-in-law Mary, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Cliodna’s life will take place on Wednesday at 4:00pm at The Foley and McGowan Funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo. A private cremation service will take place at Mount Jerome Crematorium on Thursday.
Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Croí, care of The Foley and McGowan Funeral Home.

So sorry to hear the news. Your mum was a great friend to Nancy & Sean. Memories of many long summers spent in the caravan in Rosses Point with a few other ‘neighbours’ creating a wonderful impromptu community beside the golf club, or Christmas morning gatherings. Great company, stories and laughter.
