Loving wife of Darran and adored mother of Kyrie.
She will be sadly missed by her devoted husband and son, mother Siobhán, stepdad Ray, sister Glenesse, brother Caoilainn, father John, grandparents Danny and Geraldine Monaghan, father-in-law Damien, aunts, uncles, friends and relatives.

Reposing at McGowan’s Crematorium and Funeral Home, Collooney, Co. Sligo (F91AKW5) on Wednesday 18th June from 5:00pm to 7:00pm followed by a Celebration of Caíra’s Life at 7:30pm.

Condolences to Darran,Kyrie and the extended family and friends on the passing of beautiful Caira. We had the pleasure of sharing the hospice family room with Caira’s family and Kyrie actually kept us going without him even realizing, as our mum was on her own journey just across the corridor.

She is beautiful inside and out, with an infectious smile that lit up the room. She was amazing for advice and showed me such kindness during the early days of motherhood. Our sincere sympathy on the untimely and desperately sad passing of Caíra. We got to know Caíra’s family in the family room when we were visiting our own lovely aunt in the NWH. Kyrie is a beautiful little boy and is a credit to Caíra and to his Dad.
Caira I will never forget our chats and laughs and all the help you gave me over the years you were the kindest soul, it was an absolute pleasure to have spent time with you, rest in peace now your suffering is over ❤️

My thoughts are with you all at this sad time – but Caira is at peace at last. I was in the hospice at the same time as my wife Ann fought her battle and I met Caira once. What a beautiful soul. And ❤️ how special to have her cremation at Foley and McGowan. Brid and her team there also sent Ann on her final journey.
