Unexpectedly in hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Ann, predeceased by her husband Alan.

Devoted mother of Alaine, David and Sean and Muddy to her beloved grandchildren Dylan, Rachel, Finn, Liam, Alaina, Eve and Victor. She will be sadly missed by her family, David’s wife Ruth, relatives, neighbours and her wide circle of friends.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing at The Foley and McGowan Funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo on Thursday from 4:30pm with a Celebration of her Life taking place at 6:30pm. A Cremation Service will take place for family at Shannon Crematorium on Friday.

  1. I will remember Ann as always up for a laugh, she had a great sense of humour. Above everything she was so proud of Alaine David and Sean and all of her grandchildren never missing an opportunity to remind us how great they all are. We will miss you….LB, Christophe, Matthew and Pierce

  3. Deeply shocked to hear of Ann’s passing, she was such a positive, warm and giving person, hugely fond memories of working closely with her in theatre many years ago in Sligo. Jo and I send our condolences to all the family.

  21. So sorry to hear about the death of Ann. I worked with her in the past. She was such a “lady” and had a lovely smile. Often met her when I was out shopping and had chats with her. May she rest in peace.
