Peacefully in the wonderful care of the North West Hospice.

Predeceased by his father Jim.

Beloved son of Nuala, much loved brother of James, David and his sister Mary Downey.

He will be sadly missed by his family, sisters-in-law Helen and Kathleen, brother-in-law Ross, his adored nieces and nephews Clare , Michael, Aoibheann, Senan, Zoe and Adam, his aunts, uncles, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing at the Foley and McGowan’s Funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo on Tuesday 28th January 2025 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. Funeral will arrive to St. John’s Church, Carraroe, Sligo for requiem mass on Wednesday 29th January at 12:00pm, followed by a private cremation service in Lakelands Crematorium, Co. Cavan.
